From the South on Rte 287

  1. Route 287 North to exit #53 (Route 511 ALT – Bloomingdale & Pompton Lakes)
  2. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Hamburg Turnpike.
  3. Turn right at the 1st light onto Newark Pompton Turnpike.
  4. Travel 0.6 mile. The Riverdale Public Library is on the left, next to the Municipal Building and directly opposite the Golden Sakura restaurant.

From the North on Rte 287

  1. Route 287 South to exit #53. (Route 511 ALT – Bloomingdale & Pompton Lakes)
  2. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Hamburg Turnpike.
  3. Turn right at the 2nd light onto Newark Pompton Turnpike.
  4. Travel 0.6 mile. The Riverdale Public Library is on the left, next to the Municipal Building and directly opposite the Golden Sakura restaurant.

From the North on Rte 23

  1. Follow Route 23 South. After you cross Rte. 287, make the first turn after the light onto the jug handle to make a U-Turn onto Rte. 23 north.
  2. On Rte 23 North, turn right at the first light onto Newark Pompton Turnpike.
  3. Travel ¼ mile. The Riverdale Public Library is on the right, directly opposite the Golden Sakura restaurant.

From the South on Rte 23

  1. Follow Route 23 North.
  2. Turn right onto Newark Pompton Turnpike right after Circle 3 Farms. (Warning: Do not turn left onto Newark Pompton Turnpike in Pompton Plains. Riverdale is another mile).
  3. Travel ¼ mile. The Riverdale Public Library is on the right, directly opposite the Golden Sakura restaurant.

From Wayne or Bloomingdale on Hamburg Turnpike

  1. From Hamburg Tpke., turn onto Newark Pompton Tpke.
  2. Travel 0.6 mile. The Riverdale Public Library is on the left, next to the Municipal Building and directly opposite the Golden Sakura restaurant.
