George Washington, New Jersey and the Revolutionary War

Presenter:Joel Farkas, National Park Service volunteer docent at Washington's Headquarters, Morristown, NJ Beginning with the French and Indian War, Farkas highlights the important points of Washington’s service to the country, with special emphasis on his New Jersey battles and the winters in Morristown. You’ll take a visual tour of the ford mansion ((Washington’s Headquarters) looking at some of the historical artifacts in the mansion, their stories, and in some cases their connection to George Washington. And yes, Washington’s cherry tree along with Washington’s teeth will be discussed.
