Director's Welcome

"A library's function is to give the public in the quickest and cheapeast way information, inspiration, and recreation. If a better way than the book can be found, we should use it."

Melvil Dewey (1851-1931), American Librarian and Educator

Welcome to the Riverdale Public Library. We take pride in the variety of services and programs we offer. We continue to provide information, inspiration and recreation, and do so with both print and digital resources. Many of our services, such as access to your account, databases, and downloading audio and e-books, are available from home, but we always look forward to seeing you in the library!
